Unveiling our new Mission & Talent Brand
Activision has revealed a new mission statement and talent brand this week. The work is the result of a cross-functional effort and research with numerous employees, studio leaders, and key culture team members to ensure we’ve captured what distinguishes Activision and makes us special within Xbox and Microsoft.

“As we work towards the next era of our company, this work is aimed at championing Activision’s unique work culture and identifying a “North Star” to drive our goals and priorities. We’re at an exciting point in our history and are feeling really confident about the future of our business and what’s to come”- Suzie Carr, Chief People Officer of Activision Publishing.

Our new talent brand tagline “Activate Your Future” is a punchy way of talking to our culture, while using a play on words with Activision. Through extensive research and employee input from across Activision, we crafted this phrase to capture what we hope employees will achieve while they’re here and how we want potential talent to see us when they’re choosing their next career adventure.

The research also helped us better understand and articulate what makes Activision unique when it comes to working here. As a company with a rich history and one that is made up of 11 unique studios and a publishing organization, we felt it was important to understand where there was synergy and difference. The three consistent themes that came up across our entire business were centered around People, Innovation, and Excellence.
